Presbyterian Youth Fellowship

Presbyterian Youth Fellowship (PYF)
It is the mission of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church's Youth Fellowship program to provide fellowship opportunities in a positive and accepting atmosphere for the youth of our church and community while guiding the exploration of their faith through a variety of activities.  The group meets about once a month for fellowship activities such as skating, dinners, movies, and other outings and activities. Students in grades 9 through 12-whether members of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church or not-are welcome to attend.  Please contact the church office for more information.
Our PYF Bible study group meets at 5:30 on Wednesday evenings for Bible study. The Bible study group meets in the lower level of the sanctuary building, in the Children's Church room.  The Bible study is led by Laurel Gravatte and Ginna Lee.
Mission activities include raising funds for selected causes, serving others both locally and out of the region with hands-on work, and participating in walks to raise funds and awareness.  One of PYF's mission projects is "Soles for Souls". Used and new shoes are collected for Soles 4 Souls.  The shoes are cleaned, sorted, and shipped around the  world to people in need.  In addition, we participate in Presbyterian summer church camps.
The Culpeper Presbyterian Youth Fellowship is an active and comitted group of young people seeking to grow in their faith through fun and nurturing activities.  They are energized to put lessons learned in church into action to make a difference in the world.
